Dr Michael Pratt has degrees in music education and music composition from The University of Toledo, The University of Michigan, and Boston University. He studied composition with Pulitzer Prize winning composers Ross Lee Finney and Leslie Bassett at The University of Michigan. Having taught music in the public schools for many years in Michigan, he currently teaches music at Jackson College and Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. Michael Pratt is a member of ASCAP.

Welcome to the Pratt Music Foundation. Our mission is the support of classical music in our community, primarily through scholarships for deserving youth. Board of Directors reviewed 59 applications in June and selected 33 Pratt Music Foundation.
